READ DESIGN NOTE ↗Design and support Cisco networks across five sites in multiple states — roughly 10,000 endpoints, 500+ Layer 2 switches and dozens of Layer 3 switches, with no permanent on-site engineering staff. Own VLAN and addressing standards, OSPF and VPN connectivity, out-of-band access and configuration automation.
Led IT for two hotel properties and 200+ staff, including a full infrastructure build during the Tavel renovation. Owned network architecture, VLAN and QoS design, Active Directory, VoIP and access systems across both sites.
Managed Cisco routing and switching, VoIP, servers and end-user systems for an operating hotel. Administered VMware, Proxmox, Windows Server, Active Directory and QNAP backups, and introduced SolarWinds and Zabbix monitoring.
